Warren’s husband, Bruce Mann, will greet grassroots supporters at 2 p.m. this afternoon at the Arlington/Lexington Democratic Town Committees’ Office, at 46 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington.
As campaign season comes to a close with the Nov. 6 election less than a week away, Democratic candidate for US Senate Elizabeth Warren did some stumping at Concord’s Nashoba Brook Bakery on Oct. 31.
Warren said the focus of her campaign will shift in the final week before election day, making it clear to voters the choice before them.
“I think it’s about whose side are you on,” Warren said. “Scott Brown has some good votes but too often he votes for millionaires, billionaires and big oil companies.”
If elected, Warren said she will focus her efforts on helping middle class families.
“Me, I don’t want to go to Washington to work for those folks,” Warren said. “I want to go to Washington to fight for working families and small businesses.”
When asked if she would like to see the debate that was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy rescheduled before Nov. 6, Warren said she was hoping to get one more debate in before election day.
